‘Pioneers in Diabetes’ is an innovative new educational programme aiming to provide senior specialist registrars and young consultant diabetologists with professional and personal development skills that may not be available in existing clinical or academic setting.

The programme is led by an eminent faculty:
➧ Professor Clifford Bailey
➧ Professor Anthony Barnett
➧ Professor Melanie Davies
➧ Dr Marc Evans
➧ Professor Jiten Vora

The programme will provide delegates with the opportunity to:

➧ have a one-to-one tutorial and mentoring session including
personal career development advice with a faculty member
➧ reflect on current practice
➧ develop new skills
➧ enhance knowledge
➧ engage with the faculty
➧ learn from each other

Training will be delivered in a range of interactive formats, utilising a combination of faculty knowledge and experience,external trainers and speakers
