Opportunity to attend the Community Diabetes Consultants (CDC) Annual Meeting

The annual CDC meeting will take place in November in Warwick. This is an interactive course which will discuss a number of important topics.

Dr Gillian Hawthorne, the national chair of the CDC group has offered the YDF 5 SpR places at the CDC annual meeting. If you have had little exposure to community diabetes care in your training to date, this is your opportunity to fill that void. Friday 12th November:

10.0am -10.45 A review of a method of scoring QOF points and checking exception reporting: Use of the Deadly Trio database (Felix Burden) 

11.00 am   Coffee 

Challenges in moving services out of secondary care: Chair Waqar Malik 

11.15-12.00: Service re-design: trials and tribulations (Su Down and Bobby Driver) 

12.00-12.30:Delivering DAFNE as a community service (Jill Hill) 

12.30-13.00  Discussion
